"Acceptance" is a 2.75 x 8.5 inch bookmark. This work is special to me because it is a telling of my life challenges, especially in the last 5 years. Having lost my father at a young age and dealing with my mother's mental illness, I've been working with an anxiety disorder that flourished after 2020. I practice what I wrote and it has opened me up to healing and peace.
I like to tuck this message into a book I'm reading as a reminder that we can ask for help and we deserve it.
